Invertir launches the First Angel Investor Network in Peru

On Thursday April 2nd, Invertir Institute launched at the Country Club Lima Hotel, the First Network for Angel Investors in Peru, INVETIR PERU, designed to generate a network of contacts among entrepreneurs with high growth potential and individual investors.

The President of INVETIR PERU, Diego La Torre de la Piedra, a prominent Peruvian businessman, introduced the Network, along with Daniel Córdova, President of Invertir Institute and Nils de Witte, Director of Business in Development Network of the Netherlands, a worldwide entrepreneurial network from which INVETIR PERU is part of.

The event marked the beginning of activities of the Network with the presentation of two business plans of entrepreneurs selected from two growing sectors: construction materials for affordable housing and manufacturing of metal furniture. Both entrepreneurs presented their business plans brilliantly to the more than 50 attendees, including potential investors and people linked to business incubators.

This was the first activity of the Network, which aims to bring together on a regular basis investors interested in investing in businesses with high growth potential. INVETIR PERU will be constituted as a prominent meeting space for individuals who seek a return on their money by participating in businesses with high potential for profitability, and entrepreneurs with specific knowledge and management skills in search of capital.
